MICFootball7

Year: 2003-present

The MICFootball7 is a 7-a-side football tournament held on the Costa Daurada. The youngest (between 8 and 12 years old) begin to feel like footballers. The philosophy of the tournament is to experience the end of the season with a grassroots football party that brings together players, coaches, family and friends.

For many years, the MICFootball7 was played in Andorra, watching young players grow up to reach the elite such as Lamine Yamal, Marc Cucurella, Xavi Simons, Ferran Torres or Carlos Soler among others. The latest editions have been played at the Mediterranean Sports Hub, bringing together more than 3,000 people in a single facility.

The tournament has evolved and generated interest from teams from all over the world. Countries such as Japan, Kuwait and Canada are represented during a weekend of pure grassroots football.
